Using GreenSteps Euro profile timber triple glazed windows and doors
Set in the pretty Suffolk village of Framsden, this amazing barn conversion deserved some equally amazing windows and doors. The customer chose GreenSteps Euro profile tilt & turn windows, with triple glazed units and a two colour finish; white on the inside for a clean and crisp interior and a deep rich blue on the outside to blend with the timber cladding and fascia finishes.
The windows incorporate external aluminium cills and frame protection strips to provide maximum longevity with minimal maintenance. The aluminium cills also utilise special end caps, preventing the timber reveal boards from sitting in standing water on the cills and degrading.
Angled head opening sashes add further interest to the facades and bespoke designed feature entrance doors provide a more modern slant on the classic architecture. GreenSteps worked closely with the developer to ensure they achieved the look and feel they were going for. The high quality workmanship is complemented by the outstanding factory finish on the window surface.
